Tunisia’s Laïdouni signs for Union Berlin in major transfer for Tunisian football

Tunisia’s 26-year old defensive midfielder Aïssa Laïdouni has just signed for Bundesliga’s second-placed Union Berlin coming from the Hungarian side of Ferencváros in what appears to be a good transfer for Tunisian football.

The 28-times capped Tunisian international has caught attention recently due to his outstanding performance during the 2022 World Cup qualifiers and during the official tournament in Qatar.

With this contract, Laïdouni joins his Tunisia teammate Lilyes Skhiri who plays for FC Köln in the Bundesliga and reinforces Union Berlin’s squad which has earlier been strengthened by Josip Juranovic.
